Why are my product prices showing without tax on Google Shopping?

By default, Jumpseller’s Google Shopping feed sends prices as they are stored in your back office — without VAT/tax included. Google Shopping requires the final price (tax included) to be present in the feed. If your store applies different tax rates per country or product category, this can result in a mismatch between the price shown in Google search results and the price displayed on your product page.

How do I fix this?

You can solve this by importing separate feeds for each target country into your Google Merchant Center account. Jumpseller generates country-specific feeds dynamically, applying the correct tax rate for each country automatically.

Use the following URL format when adding a new feed in Google Merchant Center:

Replace your-store.com with your actual store URL. The URL must include:

• The correct language prefix (e.g., /es/, /fr/)
• The correct country code as a query parameter (e.g., ?country=ES)

Can Google handle a single feed with multiple prices per country?

Not fully. Google does offer a feature to support multiple prices for a single product, but as of now, this is not available for all countries (e.g., Portugal and Spain are not yet supported). Using separate country-specific feeds is the recommended and most reliable approach.

What if my products have different tax rates within the same country?

This is fully supported. The country-specific feed will apply the correct tax rate per product category. For example, in Portugal:

• Wines → 13% VAT
• Champagnes, Aperitifs & Vermouths → 23% VAT

These rates are applied automatically when the correct country feed is used.
