We are focused on simplifying e-commerce, allowing anyone to create online stores in minutes. Our customers will be relying on your technical skills, to support, maintain and extend their existing online business software. Millions of people will be impacted by your work as our small team, currently services hundreds of small and medium size clients.

At Jumpseller, you will always tackle different problems on a weekly basis. You may be working on revamping an existing feature or brainstorming on how a new feature or different approach will solve a specific customer's problem. You could be integrating a new payment gateway to better serve Danish customers and next week bug-fixing a responsive web page in HTML5.

As a developer, you will be mostly working in a Ruby environment. It is a nice plus if you have had experience in Ruby and related frameworks although we are not looking for someone who is a technical expert on a particular programming field or type of software. We do expect to hire a proficient and pragmatic software developer, motivated to pick up the best tool for the problem at hand.

As a web designer, you will be mostly working in a pure HTML/CSS environment. It is a nice plus if you have had experience in jQuery and delivered projects on top of Foundations or Bootrap frameworks. You'll have great attention to detail producing pixel-perfect work and be resposible for optimize design and performance across all devices using clean code.

As a marketeer, you will be mostly working on lead generation and sales-funnel optimization. It is a nice plus if you have had experience in SEM and SEO. We look for generalists, with experience focusing on the mechanics of growth - funnels, analytics, acquisition channels, onboarding and A/B testing.

You will be okay with searching for a better solution and ditching something in favor of a simpler approach or different idea. Our final work comes after an iterative process, so your work should be easy to read and understand by others and ready to change in response to external feedback.

While it is not important if you have recently graduated from University or have been working in the web field for a couple of years, we expect you to be proactive, work with little or no supervision and stand to your own commitments.

The role

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our growing team. We look for skilled & dedicated people who share our passion for building a product that millions of people use.

You are

  • A bachelor/master in Informatics (or related);
  • Proven professional experience in OO programming and web development;
  • Attentive to details, delivering quality code which is maintainable, efficient and reliable;
  • Experienced in MySQL, or other relational databases;
  • Familiar with version-control and automated testing tools;
  • Used to work in JSON/XML/CSV formats and have no issues with HTML/CSS;
  • Experienced in Ruby or Ruby and Rails (the right candidate will be considered without this experience);
  • Excellent in English communication and teamwork.

Customer Advisor

Full-time, Remote

Who we are

Jumpseller is an e-commerce cloud solution, allowing any small and medium size business to easily create their online store and run their e-commerce business without technical help.

The role

We're looking for someone to join our Customer Support Team. Someone who loves to help others, someone who can feel empathy when dealing with customer's problems and to whom you can relate.

We mostly need help on replying to our merchants via email, and occasionally via phone, from 11.00am to 8.00pm (Chile Time, GMT-3). It's a regular 40 hours/work per week. Weekend shifts between team members are necessary.

This is a demanding role, where many of the inquiries are technically complicated to assess. This requires you to act, on a daily-basis, as a liaison between our merchant base and our Design & Development teams.

This will start as remote position and move into a presencial position at some point during 2021 in our Santiago de Chile office

You are

  • Passionate, caring and empathic person, who likes to listen and solve other people's problems;
  • Incredibly resourceful and exceptional at finding solutions even when there is no clear path.
  • An advanced computer and Internet user, with previous experience creating or editing Websites, Blogs, in Customer Support or in Marketing roles;
  • Excellent in communication and teamwork;
  • Spanish native speaker.

You will

  • Help merchants setting up their e-commerce solution;
  • Answer about 75+ emails per day once you're fully up to speed (2-3 months on-ramp);
  • Meet with key customers, on the phone or personally, presenting Jumpseller and help them solving their e-commerce doubts and problems;
  • Document & automatize replies for frequently asked questions;
  • Gauge the usability of new and existing features, and making constructive suggestions for change;
  • Take responsibility & ownership of your work.

You have

  • A relevant bachelor/master degree is appreciated but not mandatory;
  • Demonstrated previous professional experience on Support or Marketing roles;
  • Advanced computer skills, from an user perspective;
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally in English;
  • Written fluency in all Portuguese, English & Spanish languages is a big plus;
  • Programming experience is a plus.

You are

  • A passion for problem solving and a proven track record of developing new processes and solutions from scratch;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous work environment and navigate through change;
  • Willingness to take ownership, get your hands dirty, and help out where needed.

You have

  • A bachelor/master in Management, Economics or Accountancy (or related fields);
  • Minimum 2 years in related functions;
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally in English;

You will

  • Developing KPIs and delivering actionable management reporting;
  • Preparing annual investment plans and ongoing financial forecasts;
  • Preparing monthly financial variance analysis and communicating performance;
  • Financial management via Quickbooks, cost centers, reconciliation and financial reporting;
  • Work with external accountants and auditors to ensure the accuracy of financial statements;
  • Work with external consultants and main stakeholders on applying and managing public incentives, like PT2020.
