Requirements

  • Revolut Business account: a verified Revolut Business account that can accept card payments. You can sign up at revolut.com/business.
  • Eligible country: your Revolut Business account must be based in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. Your customers can be anywhere in the world.
  • Supported currency: your store currency must be one of AED, AUD, CAD, CHF, CZK, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, JPY, NOK, NZD, PLN, QAR, RON, SAR, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, USD or ZAR.

Step 1: Get your secret API key from Revolut

  1. Log in to your Revolut Business account on the web.
  2. Go to Settings > APIs and open the Merchant API tab.
  3. Copy your Production secret key (it starts with sk_).

Keep this key private: anyone who has it can take payments and make refunds on your account. Only paste it into your Jumpseller admin panel, and never share it by email or chat.

Step 2: Add Revolut to your Jumpseller store

  1. Log in to your Jumpseller Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Settings > Checkout > Payments and click Add Method.
  3. Choose Revolut from the list.
  4. Paste your key into the Secret API key field. You can also change the Name your customers see at checkout and add Payment Information for your customers.
  5. Click Save.

When you save, Jumpseller connects to your Revolut account and sets up the payment notifications for you. You don’t need to configure any webhook in Revolut.

If Revolut doesn’t accept the key, Jumpseller shows an error and turns the payment method off, so your customers never see a method that can’t take payments. Check that you copied the whole key, then save again.

For security, the saved key is never shown again. To keep the current key while you edit other settings, leave the field empty.

How your customers pay with Revolut

  3. After paying, they return to your store’s order confirmation page.

Order status

Payment on Revolut Order in Jumpseller
Completed Paid
Authorised or being processed Pending Payment, updated automatically once Revolut completes it
Declined or abandoned Stays open, so the customer can try again

If the customer goes back to the payment page before paying, Jumpseller reuses the same Revolut payment as long as the cart total hasn’t changed, so a customer is never charged twice for the same order.

Refunds

Make refunds from your Revolut Business account, in the payment’s details. Revolut doesn’t charge for refunds. Then update the order status in your Jumpseller admin panel.

Testing with a Revolut sandbox account

Before going live, you can try the whole flow in Revolut’s test environment:

  1. Create a sandbox account at sandbox-business.revolut.com.
  2. Copy the sandbox secret key from Settings > APIs > Merchant API.
  3. Paste it into the Secret API key field and save. Jumpseller detects that it’s a sandbox key automatically.
  4. Pay with one of Revolut’s test cards.

When you’re done, replace it with your Production secret key and save again.
